The ownership period is 1 x PLATINUM season week. You may book and reserve your week each year during PLATINUM season. The PLATINUM season covers the whole year but is a great ownership to own if you require the truly peak periods of July and August although you can holiday at any other time period.

We often get asked what is a lock off apartment at Island Residence Club and what options do I have when occupying and using the two apartments............

The lock off style apartment is two separate units connected via an interconnected door. On one side you have a one bedroom/sleeps 4 apartment which offers a full apartment set up with master double bedroom, family bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area and a full balcony. On the other side you have a hotel suite which offers a sleeping area for 2 people and smaller sitting area in an open plan set up. There is also a shower room with toilet and a balcony. The hotel suite also includes a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

The changeover day for this apartment is a Friday.

When you own a lock off style apartment you have the ability to use the entire lock for your holiday time or you can choose to use just one side of the lock off and take advantage of moving to the other side for a second week of holiday time. You may also choose to rent one side and occupy one side or even bank the ownership and exchange to other resorts. The lock off apartment gives ownership a truly flexible option to the way you use and occupy your timeshare ownership. You also only pay one maintenance fee for your lock off apartment but can offer you a two week holiday at either your home resort or through joining an exchange organisation.

Onsite at Island Residence you have access to outstanding facilities which include the onsite swimming pools, luxury spa, restaurant and bars, the beach area and much more.

The resort boasts excellent swimming pools and a members only pool. There is also a great array of onsite bars and restaurants along with excellent spa, gym and other facilities and entertainment for all the family. There are plenty of places in Malta to enjoy for days out. The local bus service is great although a hire car is a great plus so you can really get out and explore.

Owners of Island Residence Club can choose to holiday each year at their home resort or may decide to join a timeshare exchange company and make use of banking and exchanging the ownership to resorts and destinations across the world. This also opens up many other holiday extras which include bonus weeks and late breaks and getaways.
