A stylish apartment in the main house, with a double bed room with chaise longue, living room with sofa bed, dining table, flat screen TV, wifi, sofas and armchairs,, small kitchen, bathroom, plus a hotel room with ensuite shower downstairs with two single beds. This is great for friends and or family members who want a little extra privacy. Extra beds are available for the living room and we often have 6-8 down at a time. Plus there is a dedicated car parking space in the car park next to the main house in which the apartment is situated. The house,which dates back over a hundred years has a fascinating history as a school and then a hospital during WWII, features lead paned windows and classical stone architecture.

The grounds are lovely with views over the Solent, an outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, squash court, basketball, table tennis, small gym, beauty salon, tennis, croquet, pitch and putt, laundry room etc. The place is friendly, rarely very busy and very relaxing - and perfect for children as there is so much space for them to play outside including their very own wooden fort and small play area. There is an excellent fine dining restaurant on site, plus Sails Bar for lazy breakfasts, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner with children's menu.

The charming harbour town of Lymington - with regular boat trips, great restaurants and pubs is just 15 minutes walk away or 5 mins by car. The IOW ferry is 5 minutes. And the resort is perfect for those travelling by train, as we often do, as the Lymington Pier station is under 5 mins walk to the resort. Cycles can be hired at nearby Brockenhurst (by car) or Beaulieu and there are now several outdoor adventure activities at Calshot and Beaulieu 15 minutes) including wake boarding, canoeing, kayaking and paintballing. And there is the fine motor museum at Beaulieu. Strawberry picking is across the road from Elmers next to the local 18 hole golf course at which non members are welcome to play. Plus there are the local beaches, picturesque villages such as Lyndhurst and, of course, the magnificent forest itself.
